Herefordshire Food Charter. Healthy food for people, place and planet

zero carbon food page ssThe Herefordshire Food Alliance are proud that members have fed into the Food Action Plan for Herefordshire, which includes partnerships with Public Health and other Council departments, neighbouring Councils, NHS Trusts and of course the range of groups and organisations that form the alliance.   You can read it on the food page of Zero Carbon / Nature Rich Herefordshire which also features - yes, you guessed it - the Food Charter

You can also view food projects on that page within a map of other low carbon initiativesWhat would you like to see on that map?

Alliance Steering Team member Growing Local are featured on the food page as inspiration - keep an eye out for more sustainable food initiatives appearing too.  If you have something to share that inspires sustainable food action, get in touch.  The zero carbon site also covers other topics that go hand in hand with a good food system - including waste and transport.  The food alliance will continue to feed in information and share info from there.
