Herefordshire Food Charter. Healthy food for people, place and planet

Our next Food Alliance 6-weekly steering team meeting is on Tuesday at 1.30pm.  This time Matt Pearce of Public Health will talk through his report featuring food   and we'll be chatting through all the actions we've achieved (and what we need to do) towards the Bronze Award for Herefordshire through Sustainable Food Places.  Plus hearing from all the steering group partners about what they've been up to.

As a group we span a range of interests and experience, generally covering the themes of the alliance.

We would love to involve you if you are working in the following:

  • Sustainable local food business
  • Food procurement, including schools

We also have sub groups - which focus on specific topics and are more hands-on.  Some techy stuff, contacting other organisations to share info and generally finding out / shouting about what's going on locally all over Herefordshire is useful!

Plus we're looking for partners for the picking and processing project that will build our network further.

You're always welcome to come along and see what gets talked about.  Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and tell us how you're working for a sustainable food future!
