Herefordshire Food Charter. Healthy food for people, place and planet

growing local kidsKS2 Workshop - The Big Soup

Growing Local CIC are currently designing a brand new workshop to take into primary schools this winter.

"The Big Soup will be talking around the subjects of climate and food through the medium of making a hearty pot of healthy homemade local soup.

The workshop will offer KS2 children opportunities to think about composting and making compost, the importance of our soil, food waste, recycling, eating local and seasonal food, cooking from scratch, eating more plants and less processed foods....all whilst making and eating our delicious super-soup. We can't wait to get delivering! If you're a primary school or childrens organisation and would like us to visit then do get in touch, This email address is being protected from spambots.
