the big mediterranean eatJoin our Alliance members Growing Local at another Big Eat on Saturday - this time with a Mediteranean theme.  Cooking from scratch and creating simple food for all together.  Also a good chance to talk to Pat and Louisa about the Food Charter!

"As the summer draws to an end our next BIG EAT will be celebrating the foods of the Med from the south of France, Spain, Italy and Greece. It’s sure to be Hereford’s tastiest day out!

Please do come and join us for this FREE event (donations to the centre are always welcome) at The Kindle Centre and help cook, wash up, serve and eat a delectable Mediterranean Feast!

As well as the cooking there’s always a clothes, toy and bric a brac sale at our Big Eats.

Who we Are

The Herefordshire Food Charter is an initiative of the Herefordshire Food Alliance, a network of individuals and organisations from across the county involved in local, community and sustainable food action.

The Alliance is a member of the national Sustainable Food Places network and is co-ordinated by New Leaf Sustainable Development with support from Herefordshire Council and Sustainable Food Places.
