Herefordshire Food Charter. Healthy food for people, place and planet

323623456 6071314042900195 6976749266880486325 nAn event in which the subject of food will certainly appear!  A conversation with Jane Davidson who was instrumental in establishing the Welsh Future Generations Act.  Local procurement, short supply chains, and efficient production of food - all enshrined in law.  Head along and let's keep future sustainable food for Herefordshire central to the conversation!

"What can we learn from the experiences of our neighbour? Wales has pioneered low impact development and the Future Generations Act. What are the highs and lows of acting with future generations in mind?

Jane Davidson made it happen! She was Minister for Environment & Sustainability in the Welsh Government and is now Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University of Wales. Jane is on a mission to protect the wellbeing of future generations and will talk about her work in these roles, in education, in Wales and in her discussions with many other governments.

Join us to hear direct from Jane and ask your questions!

Chairing the discussion will be Green Cllr Ellie Chowns, cabinet member for Economy & Environment."
