Herefordshire Food Charter. Healthy food for people, place and planet

leo hwtThe Wildlife Trust in Herefordshire has a new group in Leominster and there are loads of food links to be made...   Join them for thier launch!

"Join us to celebrate the launch of a new Herefordshire Wildlife Trust branch in Leominster for the residents of Leominster and the surrounding areas.

Monday 29 January 2024,  7pm

Our local branch groups offer people a chance to engage with wildlife within their local community in a social setting. Most branches run a programme of regular talks and walks while some are also involved in practical conservation projects. Groups also help us to fundraise, often for projects at their local nature reserves.

The evening will include a chance to hear about the work being done by the Wildlife Trust and how we aim to move forward with our new strategy.

We will explore together how local communities can make a difference to our wildlife.

During the evening you will have chance to meet some of the team who work for Herefordshire Wildlife Trust and hear from Jamie Audsley (CEO), Esther Clarke (Nature Reserves Manager), Sarah King (Nature Recovery Manager), Tracy Price (Community Organiser) and Felicity Kienstra (Volunteer Coordinator).
