We were absolutely delighted for our coordinator to have represented the whole Herefordshire Food Alliance, and met both our Herefordshire MPs today at parliament. We were part of a Sustainable Food Places day of Celebration and Action.
It feels great to have their support and interest both locally and at a national level to grow a good food movement! We talked about the steps we can take together around hospital procurement, building positive communication together amongst everyone on Herefordshire and about taking action towards what we want - more good food in Herefordshire!
We came together as the 100+ partnerships to celebrate our collective achievements over the past ten years, and to show the resilience and ingenuity of our grassroots solutions, and how the devolved Nations’ governments can support our work through funding, policies, and integration of the food partnership model within every local authority in the UK. As a movement, we are calling for a food partnership in every area and a Good Food Bill in every nation. Herefordshire has a partnership - that's us! But we'd love a Good Food Bill in England to support what we do!
