"Somehow or other we are nearly at the end of February after another industrious month for Growing Local and the Southside Project. Our children's education garden is making solid progress - it's fantastic to see vegetable beds in place ready for planting and seeds have now started to be sown this week by school groups in our recently installed polytunnels. Our growers Katie and Laurie have been extremely busy planning and buying equipment, materials and seeds to start the CSA. Katie tells us more about how and when the CSA will operate below - we're all starting to get just a little bit excited about our impending first harvest of veggies!
