We were proud to be part of the Marches Forward Partnership event this week, bringing Herefordshire produce and the story of where it all came from along with our three other food partnerships too!
Herefordshire Council is working with Shropshire, Monmouthshire and Powys to create 'cross county, cross country and cross party' relationships that will build nature, transport, housing, skills, health, tourism - and of course food.
It was heartening that so much of the talk was about sustainable food, and of this being an essential solution into the future.
Lots of ideas for priorities going forward and utterly brilliant that all our food partnerships in the area already have shared goals and plans! As Leader of Herefordshire Council said- "we need to tell people where the Marches is" we'll keep doing that!
