Daphne’s is full of sunshine, whatever the weather..
The owners Autum and Daniel (the team is completed by Lettice) are passionate about good quality, local, seasonal ingredients and both they and their suppliers are rightly proud of these partnerships. The imaginative starters, stand out delicious pizzas and sensational puddings are all delivered with warmth, and an infectious enthusiasm.
Daniel’s forte is fermentation with it’s ever changing natural processes, so he focusses on the nuances of the pizza dough, and together with his brother, Adam he makes Skyborry cider and perry, https://skyborrycider.co.uk/, which is sold in Daphnes, along with a selection of local ale and beer, and low intervention wines from Europe. Daniel uses 30% wholemeal heritage flour grown and milled in Herefordshire at Chapel Farm https://www.chapelhousefarm.com/flour-pulses.
Autumn brings a wealth of experience from her former restaurant in Brooklyn, New York, and her passionate knowledge of natural wines.
