broad alliance collage...In good local food in Herefordshire right now?

If you're reading this, you're either interested in or working towards good local food in Herefordshire.  Please help us build a brilliant picture of all that's going on so that we can celebrate it, support it and do more of it!

It will take a very small amount of time and we're happy to receive your thoughts in any way - a quick note+ contact details, a document you already have, or a link.

Here's the form!   You may see it below or click the link.

We'll do three things with this information:

  • We'll aim to get Herefordshire's Bronze Award increased to a Silver in the next year.
  • We'll look for connections between projects, link them up and aim to get funding that supports them.
  • We'll meet with both our MP representatives next month and share with them what's going on and what people need here in Herefordshire.

What could you tell us?  Anything that's building food in Herefordshire that's good for people, This could range from:

  • A community meal using surplus from an allotment.
  • The start of the Wyescapes 20 year programme for land owners and farmers to restore rivers
  • Campaign for more locally farmed apples in a local school

It could also be something that has no obvious change yet - many people submitted suggestions to the Local Plan this year, to strengthen the focus on local nature-friendly food production and good food for all.  It's not clear when that change may emerge, but you did it - it's worth celebrating!
