Great news - Herefordshire Food Alliance has recieved an offer of funding from the UK Shared Prosperity fund that will enable us to hold collaborative food and film events over the next 8 months, centred around food and farming in Herefordshire.

We can't wait to get started on a roadshow of great food and stories, celebrating the soil and how we use it here in Herefordshire!

We'll be supporting ten events between July 2024 and February 2025.  All events will have their own local flavour but will include:

  • A film showing of Six Inches of Soil- stories of Farmers producing food "to heal the soil, benefit our health and provide for local communities."
  • Chats, demos, thoughts and stories from local farmers who are working to produce nature and river-friendly food
  • A showcase of nature and river-friendly food, sourced direct from nearby producers

We've already had a lot of interest, and pledges of support from parishes and environment groups all around the county.  If your local group would like to bring the film to your area, please get in touch as soon as possible.

Watch this space as we confirm showings and events!
