news hcnp webinar for website recording availableWe were very happy to talk about Food Alliance work and how it ties in with Herefordshire's climate goals at the Herefordshire Green Network March event, sharing the work of the Climate and Nature Board.

Forging a Path to Net Zero brought us up to speed with the work towards net zero across all areas, and was attended by 80+ people.   You can view it here

The Climate and Nature Partnership Board was set up as a result of a citizens assembly on climate and comprises volunteers from various areas supporting the council with targets.  Rebecca, the Food Alliance coordinator sits on this board and food alliance priorities reflect the board's priorities.

The Farming / Land Use update from Steve Klenk is at 25 mins, our Food update is at 37 minutes and before that is a whistlestop tour from the Chair of the Climate and Nature Board of all that's been done, and what we are parctically talking about when we are planning zero carbon, nature rich.

You can also read more questions answered on the Councils zero carbon nature-rich site

The board has vacancies - please bring your expertise to join us!

The board's agreed priorities will be available soon, and work continues among many groups right now.
